Neurological occupational therapy in Sydney
Functional Capacity Assessments for complex neurological needs.
A Functional Capacity Assessment considers how a person manages everyday activities and how disability affects safety, independence and participation. Caitlin brings together clinical observation, the person's priorities, their environment and information from the wider support team to form a clear picture of current function.
Assessment and support
What this service can involve
- Assessment of personal care, domestic activities, mobility and community access
- Consideration of cognition, fatigue, upper limb function and environmental barriers
- Consultation with family, support workers and treating professionals where relevant
- A practical report with evidence-informed recommendations where clinically indicated
Caitlin's approach
The assessment is tailored to the referral question rather than following a one-size-fits-all process. Recommendations are explained clearly and linked to the person's goals, daily routines and support needs.
Home and community appointments are available across Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, Inner City and nearby Inner West. Telehealth or appointments outside this area may be available depending on the referral.
